We’re Shaun and Audie—affectionately known as “Shaudie” by our middle son—and we’re the family behind Tie One On. As proud parents of two sons, a daughter, a daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren, family has always been at the heart of everything we do, both in life and in business.

Our journey together began in 2004 and, for us, it truly was love at first sight. We were married the following year at the Wheeler Historic Farm in Utah and spent our early years exploring the beauty of the Rocky Mountains—hiking, photographing, and making memories in the place Shaun has always called home. In 2010, we moved to rural Missouri to be closer to Audie’s family, where we continued growing our family while discovering the rivers and landscapes of the Ozarks.

Entrepreneurship has been a defining part of our story. In 2017, we had the opportunity to launch an Urban Air Adventure Park in Tallahassee, Florida. When we opened our doors in February 2019, the response from the community was incredible—we set the grand opening record for a franchise of more than 90 locations. What meant the most to us, however, was building an energetic team and mentoring young people as they developed both personally and professionally.

After successfully selling that business a few years later, we were presented with a new—and very personal—opportunity. Shaun’s parents, who had owned Tie One On for 30 years, were preparing to retire and close the doors. Rather than see a beloved family legacy come to an end, we chose to carry it forward.

We quickly relocated back to Utah, stepped into leadership of the three remaining stores, and got to work. In just a few short years, through hard work, learning, and an incredible team, we’ve grown from those original three locations to eight—and we’re just getting started.

Today, Audie continues to serve as a National Director of Sales for Urban Air while leading human resources and supporting operations at Tie One On. Shaun is fully dedicated to the growth, vision, and day-to-day leadership of the business.

For us, Tie One On is more than a company—it’s a continuation of a family legacy, a commitment to our team, and a promise to our customers to deliver exceptional service, style, and experience for years to come.
